We at Vice Travellers are working to make our site vicetravellers.com accessible to people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying relevant accessibility standards as best as we can.

What web accessibility is

Web accessibility means that people with disabilities can perceive, understand, navigate, and interact with the web. It also benefits people without disabilities, such as those using different devices, slow connections, or temporary limitations.

Accessibility adjustments on this site

We have adapted this site in accordance with WCAG 2.1 and aim to achieve Level AA accessibility. 

As part of this effort, we have:

  • used Wix accessibility tools (including the accessibility settings available in Wix) to detect and mitigate common issues,

  • set the language of the site,

  • structured pages with clear headings for screen reader navigation,

  • written descriptive, meaningful link text (avoiding “click here” where possible),

  • added alternative text to images where applicable,

  • worked to maintain adequate colour contrast,

  • reduced motion where it makes sense,

  • ensured that videos, audio, and files are labelled and accessible where feasible,

  • kept forms simple and clear so they can be completed more easily.

Declaration of partial compliance with the standard due to third-party content

Some parts of this website may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. In particular, third-party content and embeds we do not control may cause accessibility limitations, including:

  • Instagram embeds, which are created and provided by Instagram (Meta Platforms) and may not be fully accessible across all devices and assistive technologies.
    We plan to continue working with Wix tools and our content practices to improve these areas where possible.

Technical requirements / compatibility

This site is intended to be compatible with:

  • current versions of major browsers,

  • modern operating systems and devices,

  • assistive technologies such as screen readers and keyboard navigation.

Some older browsers or devices may not support all accessibility features.

Assessment method

We assess and improve accessibility using a combination of:

  • self-evaluation,

  • Wix’s built-in accessibility tooling/checks,

  • ongoing content improvements (headings, alt text, link naming, contrast checks).

Analytics, email, and contact

We use Wix Analytics to help us understand how visitors use the site (e.g., page views, navigation patterns), so we can improve usability and accessibility over time.
